DCC POLLS, Candidates asked to remove posters, banners in 7 days

The Election Commission on Thursday called on the people intending to contest Dhaka City Corporation elections to remove within seven days the posters, leaflets and banners they had stuck on roadside walls greeting people on different occasions or seeking their blessings. The commission reminded them that election campaigns before the announcement of the polls schedule was a violation of the electoral code of conduct.read more..
